The company is founded by Astrid, the illustrator and initiator behind The Vulva Studio's illustrations.

Here I am sharing a bit of who I am and, where I’m coming from and my mission with The Vulva Studio. I've always been a dreamer… someone who can easily transition between social interactions and withdrawing into the depths of my own imagination. Drawing, a passion I've loved since I was little, has been my sacred “escape” from the bustling world around me, a channel through which I transcend the chaos and renew my spirit.

At The Vulva Studio, i celebrate The Vulva as a symbol of sacredness, strength, power. My illustrations delve deep into the realms of diversity, emotions, and empowerment. My mission is that I want to normalize and bring up deep conversations about The Vulva, our sexuality and emotions. These illustrations are here as sacred and empowering statements. They invite us to break taboos, honor and celebrate the diverse, powerful, and beautiful aspects of our existence
